New evaporator structure for micro loop heat pipe was proposed. A new loop heat pipe with an evaporator thickness of 3 mm was designed, fabricated and tested. A three-dimensional mathematical model is developed for the flat evaporator. The results confirm the stable operation of the micro loop heat pipe.
