A novel wireless gas sensor based on LTCC technology

A novel wireless NO2 gas sensor was developed based on inductor-interdigital capacitor (LC) resonant antenna.

The device uses low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) technology.

Two dimensional (2D) SnS2 nanoflakes was used as the gas sensitive layer.

The sensor operates based on physisorption of NO2 on the large surface area of the 2D SnS2 nanoflakes.

The device is very selective and sensitive to NO2 with detection limit in ppb range.
