Evaluated the transcriptional potencies of dietary polyphenols in chemoprotection.

Polyphenols differentially induce Nrf2 target genes in vitro and in vivo.

Polyphenols depress Nrf2 and its target genes from Keap1 repression.

Their ability to reactivate Keap1-silenced genes may underlie their chemoprotection potential.
