Effects of anthropogenic impacts on Scarab Beetles composition were investigated. Scarab Beetles (SB) were sensitive do Land use (LU) change and easy to interpret. Disturbed habitats had detrimental effects on the abundance of forest SB specialists. SB could be used as indicators of the effects of LU change in Neotropical Ecosystems.
