L. plantarum CCFM639 can restore the learning and memory deficits of Al-exposed mice. This probiotic reduced the Al accumulation in brain. This probiotic restored integrity of tight junction proteins in brain. L. plantarum CCFM639 demonstrates significant neuroprotective potential in Al-induced neuronal injury.
