文摘
Benthic invertebrate assemblages were studied in temporary agricultural streams. Temporary agricultural streams sustained taxa adapted to withstand dry periods. Benthic assemblages were dominated by tolerant non-insect invertebrates. Watershed area in agriculture was inversely related to invertebrate taxon richness. Instream vegetation was related to high invertebrate density but not diversity.
