2D joint modeling of magnetic and gravity data of the Jaibaras Rift. New magnetotelluric data were acquired. Rift is controlled by normal faults that developed from older discontinuities. The sedimentary packages with volcanic rift sequences have variable thicknesses, from 1 to 3 km. Conductive anomalies are associated with suture or weakness zones due to pre-Brasiliano blocks collage.
