We successfully deposited amorphous silicon thin films co-doped with Mn and B.

Structural, electronic, and magnetic properties have been carefully characterized.

A ferromagnetic behavior up to room temperature was detected.

The extrinsic origin of magnetism is excluded.

Boron can play a relevant role to avoid quenching of magnetic moment in Mn ions.
