Roadway particulate matter alters water quality in effluent of pervious concrete. Rainwater leached dissolved metals from pervious concrete and particulates. Pervious concrete retained a significant percent of dissolved Cu, Zn, Cd and Pb. Embedded organic matter increased the retention of Zn, Cd and Pb.
