Flow diversion enables aneurysm treatment but not all are treatable endovascularly. Techniques are available for safe use of parent vessel occlusion (PVO) in patients. We describe a dual-institution series of 17 aneurysms treated with PVO. Complete aneurysm occlusion was achieved in 88% and mRS of 0 in 94% of patients. PVO is a viable solution in select ruptured and unruptured intracranial aneurysms.
