We evaluated thresholds for damselflies in riparian zones in a savanna landscape.
We sampled 98 streams located in the Pantanal plateau, Brazil.
We used Threshold Indicator Taxa Analysis — TITAN and segmented regression analysis.
We found weak evidence of a threshold between 40 and 60% native vegetation loss.
Maintaining habitat loss above the “zone of increasing risk of impact” should be priority for conservation planners.
