Susceptibility to pollution in confined areas is related to flushing capacity. Empirical methods to estimate flushing capacity were applied to 320 Spanish marinas. The Complexity Tidal Range Index (CTRI) was selected to assess susceptibility. The susceptibility atlas allows to define environmental strategies at regional scale.
