Mosquitoes known to vector human disease are abundant in urban parks. Certain mosquito species are well adapted to the urban environment, many of which reach high abundance and are important disease vectors. Predictive models based on climatic variables can provide important information on the population dynamics of these species. Mosquito populations dynamics associated to climate variations presented a species-dependent response and to a lesser extent, intraspecific differences.
