The food web of the Baja California Sur ecosystem is analyzed. Species at risk because of multiple fisheries are also the most central. In silico removals reveal the intrinsic structural resilience of the food web. Structure indicators change significantly between target and random removals. Species whose protection may decrease the impacts of fishing are identified.
