Compression test on sixteen confined reinforced masonry boundary elements. FEM simulated the compression behavior of the tested RM boundary elements. Quantified the effect of confinement reinforcement on the compression strain capacity. Results are instrumental for seismic design of reinforced masonry walls with boundary elements.
