The effect of Cu as MSR promoter of Pd/ZrO2 catalysts is studied. The influence of ZrO2 structure support on the MSR behaviour is also studied. CuPd/ZrO2-m catalysts with enhanced activity and MSR selectivity are developed. Cu addition leads to an improvement of MSR selectivity by 87%. A ZrO2-m support allows an astounding improvement of the MSR activity-selectivity.
