We model viral infection in pregnancy (a schizophrenia risk factor) in rats.

We look at the impact of prenatal poly I:C on CB1 receptors (CB1Rs) in offspring.

We image CB1Rs longitudinally with Positron Emission Tomography and [18F]MK-9470.

Prenatal poly I:C leads to alterations in CB1Rs in offspring that are age-specific.

CB1Rs are increased in adulthood mirroring changes found in schizophrenia patients.
