Features of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) in young Hispanics were studied. Young Hispanics were compared to young non-Hispanics and older Hispanics. Young Hispanics with acute MI have higher triglyceride levels than other patients. This finding may be related to lifestyle changes experienced by young Hispanics.
