Methadone may be most frequently associated with the occurrence of ADR. Frequently observed ADR related to methadone, levomethadone, and buprenorphine were gastrointestinal, nervous system and psychiatric disorders as well as hyperhidrosis. Methadone and levomathadone were frequently reported to be frequently associated with fatigue, weight gain, and sexual dysfunction. The data suggest a reduced motivation to report ADR related to agents used for ORT compared to ADR occurring in the general medical practice.
