PDF based stochastic reactor model used for study of hydrogen HCCI engine. New reduced hydrogen combustion mechanism with NOx developed (30 species and 253 reactions). Mechanism predicts cylinder pressure and captures NOx emission trend with sufficient accuracy. Parametric study of hydrogen HCCI engine over wide range of speed and load conditions. Hydrogen HCCI operating range increases with compression ratio & decreases with engine speed.
