Interaction of curcumin with 1,2-dioctadecanoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine liposomes: Intercalation of rhamnolipids enhances membrane fluidity, permeability and stability of drug molecule
Curcumin strongly partition into DSPC liposomes. At higher molar ratio curcumin influence Tm of DSPC liposomes. Rhamnolipids exceptionally increases partition of curcumin into liposomes. Rhamnolipids enhance permeability and fluidity of the DSPC liposomes. Tm DSPC liposomes decreases with increase in% of rhamnolipids in DSPC liposomes.
