Syngas production via methane dry reforming: A novel application of SmCoO3 perovskite catalyst

SmCoO3 prepared by sol-gel method has been for the first time used as catalyst in methane dry reforming. In-situ reduction of SmCoO3 ensured excellent activity. CO2, CH4 conversions of 93.0%; H2 and CO of 67.0% and 65.0% were obtained.
