Zircon U-Pb-Hf data from the Neoproterozoic-Paleozoic of the Pelagonian basement. Rock units comprising the Pelagonian basement are correlated to Avalonia. Geological evolution of Avalonia is reflected by provenance changes. The Avalonian-type Pelagonian terrane bears no Caledonian record.
