A novel high-pressure self-aspirating liquid fuel porous medium burner was developed. The ethanol flame can be successfully stabilized within the Porous medium burner. A vaporizer tube was embedded inside the burner wall for self-vaporizing the liquid ethanol. Transient period during fuel switching from LPG to ethanol vapor is investigated. Angle of the primary air adjuster and the firing rate are very sensitive to flame stabilization.
