Spin-exchanged separated local field spectra exhibit many overlapping resonances. Selective Gaussian pulses are employed to excite resolved ‘seed’ resonances. Polarization is then transferred to their nearest neighbors to initiate assignment. Cross peaks are evolved at the locations of main peaks, thus simplifying the spectrum. A single, uniformly labeled sample is used.
