Alumina waste contain high amount of alumina and is good precursor to form mullite. Mullite is obtained from samples composed of aluminosilicates and alumina waste. Fe element is incorporated in mullite phase to form a solid solution. Physical-mechanical properties are improved by the formation of mullite phase.
