Ion Release, Microstructural, and Biological Properties of iRoot BP Plus and ProRoot MTA Exposed to an Acidic Environment
文摘
Under acidic conditions, ProRoot MTA and iRoot BP Plus displayed similar ion release abilities, with increased release of Si and Ca ions. An acidic environment altered the microstructure and reduced the apatite formation capacities of both materials. Exposing iRoot BP Plus and MTA to an acidic environment, respectively, increased and decreased osteoblast viability on these materials. MC3T3-E1 preosteoblast attachment to both materials was not significantly affected by acidic pH.
