The morphological characteristics of two squeezed droplets between two parallel plates were investigated experimentally and numerically. By controlling the distance of the dispensed droplets, the morphological results for coalescence of droplets were evaluated. The representative results were shown from the view of the minor axis, major axis, and meniscus liquid bridge, respectively. The numerical modeling of the coalescence of the two squeezed droplets was presented. The simulation results were validated by comparison with the experimental results.
