A novel HPLC-MRM strategy to discover unknown and low concentration metabolites of stanozolol for doping-control purposes was developed. 48 stanozolol metabolites were detected and 27 of them have not been reported previously. 9 metabolites could be determined for over 15 days post drug administration. Metabolic pathway of stanozolol in human was constructed.
