The maximum magnetic entropy change (|ΔSm|) of Er32Tm24Co24Al20 metallic glasses (MGs) can reach 17.0 J/kgK under a field change of 5 T, which is larger than most previous amorphous alloys reported. It is found that magnetoresistance (MR) and –ΔSm obey a power law relationship around and below the magnetic ordering temperature: MR%µ |–ΔSm|c, in which c is field dependent. Below the magnetic ordering temperature, the magnitude of MR shows H2 dependence, which is similar but different from the Hndependence of –ΔSm (n smaller than 1).
