Fully numerical simulation is carried out for MHD blood flow in stenosed artery.

Dissipation of energy due to both magnetic field and blood viscosity is considered.

Strong Vortices are observed at the downstream of the stenosis in the arterial wall.

Flow reversal of blood is reduced by applying sufficient magnetic field strength.

Isothermal lines are strongly distorted in the presence of magnetic field strength.
