Heterometallic complexes [RuNO(NO2)4OHM(H2O)3] (M = Co, Ni) were synthesized. Thermal decomposition of both complexes in H2 leads to bimetallic solid solutions. Set of mixed oxides RuxCo3−xO4 formed during the decomposition in oxygen atmosphere.
