Investigated sexual definitions across 14 specific sexual behaviors Results found disagreement regarding the definition of specific sexual behaviors. “Abstinence” was defined differently than “having sex” and “maintaining virginity.” Men were more likely than women to consider behavior as being abstinent activities.
