Statistical evaluation and discrimination of competing kinetic models and hypothesis for the mathematical description of poly-3(hydroxybutyrate) synthesis by Cupriavidus necator DSM 545
Use of statistical analysis strategy for the discrimination of competing microbial growth models. The phenomenological modeling approach is formulated to describe PHB synthesis by C. necator. The stoichiometry of the microbial growth and PHB synthesis is correlated to the kinetics studies. The statistical approach of evaluation built a base for deeper understanding of the oxygen transfer. The response surface analysis and stoichiometric balance are used to simulated OUR and OTR.
