Microfiltration of Amberlite IRA743 resin suspensions was studied. Formation of a cake layer is a dominant fouling mechanism. The flux increases with the feed pH, while declines with operating pressure. The resins can be efficiently concentrated by microfiltration and reused. Membrane fouling during microfiltration should be further addressed.
