The incidences of 3-year transplantation-related mortality after the transplantation of 8/8 unrelated donor T cell–depleted, 7/8 unrelated T cell–depleted, and double-unit cord blood grafts in adults with acute leukemia and chronic myelogenous leukemia are similar.

The incidence of 3-year relapse after double-unit cord blood transplantation in adults with acute leukemia and chronic myelogenous leukemia is lower than that of 8/8 and 7/8 HLA–matched T cell–depleted unrelated donor transplantation recipients.
