Milling of clay resulted in particle size reduction and structural changes. The degree of amorphization increased with grinding time. Adsorption capacity of Ball Milled Clay enhanced by 70% The Langmuir maximum adsorption capacity was found to be 29.76 mg/g. Surface sorption and intra-particle diffusion contributed to adsorption of Ni(II).
