LuF3 mesocrystals were successfully synthesized for the first time. The UC luminescence properties of LuF3:Yb3+/Er3+/Tm3+ were investigated in detail. The fluorescent intensity ratio (IEr/ITm) decreases with increased temperature. The phosphor exhibits a high sensitivity of 20.6% K−1.
