Fabrication of graphene/titanium carbide nanorod arrays for chemical sensor application

Vertical graphene sheets were prepared with Ti as the catalyst via a CVD method. TiO2 nanotubes were key transition layers in the formation of the TiC nanorods. Vertical growth mechanism of graphene products was discussed. Biomolecules were detected to be a chemical sensor. Response mechanism for analytes at the graphene/TiC nanorod array was discussed.
