Catalytic pyrolysis of lipid-extracted residue of T. minus were performed. Ni-Mg/ZSM-5 catalysts influence the pyrolysis products yields and compositions. Bio-oil from Ni(6%)-Mg(2%)/ZSM-5(Si/Al = 50) test contained the highest hydrocarbon. MgO promoter loading on Ni/ZSM-5 catalysts inhibited the coke formation.
