Palmitic acid stimulates TLR4-mediated pancreatic cancer cell invasion. Activation of NF-κB by palmitic acid depends on ROS generation. Palmitic acid decreases the level of miR-29C through NF-κB. Inhibition of miR-29c increases MMP-9 secretion and activation, and invasiveness.
