New metal complexes with N,N-diacetatodithiocarbamate (Ac₂dtc^3?), Na₆[Co(Ac₂dtc)₃], Ba₃[Co(Ac₂dtc)₃], Na₄[Ni(Ac₂dtc)₂], Ba₂[Ni(Ac₂dtc)₂], Na₄[Cu(Ac₂dtc)₂] and Ba₂[Cu(Ac₂dtc)₂], have been synthesized, and their molecular structures and spectroscopic properties have been characterized. The X-ray analysis of Ba₃[Co(Ac₂dtc)₃]¡¤16H₂O confirmed a well-organized and rigid network among carboxyl groups of the complex anions, barium cations, and water molecules.
