The meta-analysis review examines the relationship between Cloninger's personality dimensions and ADHD. All dimensions, except self-transcendence, were associated with ADHD. These associations had different directions and magnitudes of relationship with ADHD. Some associations were moderated by age (child/adolescent versus adults). Some associations were moderated by population (clinical versus community samples).
