A decomposition-based chemical reaction optimization (CRO) metaheuristic algorithm (MOCRO/D) for multiobjective optimization problem (MOP) is proposed. Extended operators for MOCRO/D (MOECRO/D) are proposed that can better optimize the variables related problems. The proposed technique has been tested on 20 benchmark functions and compared with existing techniques. The computational results showed the efficiency of our proposed algorithm. The proposed approach has potential to be further applied to other reliability engineering problems.
