First time benzalkonium chloride based deep eutectic solvent (DES) is explored for the synthesis purposes. The new developed DES has low cost, easy work up and recyclability qualities and hence used as a green media. Combined effect of DES and ultrasonic method reduced the reaction time and improved the yield.
