文摘

Two groups of the so-called “warrior” genotype, MAOA uVNTR polymorphism were selected.

Dopamine release during violent movie content was analyzed vs. provoked aggression.

The MAOA-groups showed inversed changes of aggression after violent movie perception.

Dopamine release was also inversely regulated between genetic groups.

No support for simple dopaminergic pathways of aggression driven by MAOA-activity.
