A dual responsive molecular probe for the efficient and selective detection of nerve agent mimics and copper (II) ions with controllable detection time
Azoaniline-based molecular probe was synthesized and characterized. The probe detects nerve agent mimics in acetonotrile. The probe also exhibited the excellent selectivity and sensitivity toward copper ions in acetonotrile. This probe can be used for the sequential detection of a nerve agent mimic and copper ions with controllable detection time. A single probe can detect multiple analytes with distinct colorimetric and fluorescence responses.
