Through-bond energy transfer based dyad and triad shape fluorescence “OFF-ON-OFF” probes for Hg2+ ions and their application in live HeLa cells and Zebrafish

Dyad (R1) and triad (R2) shape probes were prepared for Hg2+ ion sensing. Both R1 and R2 were followed the TBET sensing mechanism. The probes shows high reversibility with I− and reflect “OFF-ON-OFF” sensing property. Molecular logic gate has been developed as INHIBIT logic gate with a YES logic function. At first, TBET based probe (R1) was used to monitor the Hg2+ ion in zebrafish.
