A technique to initially attach FeS moieties to gold surfaces in non-aqueous media.

Then coenzyme and apoenzyme attachment in aqueous media.

The technique can keep the efficacy of FeS and the enzyme system intact.

These electrodes were able to amplify signals over ten-fold.

Electrical transport function could be enhanced by anchoring redox enzymes via FeS.
