Effects of the cobalt content of catalysts prepared from hydrotalcites synthesized by ultrasound-assisted coprecipitation on hydrogen production by oxidative steam reforming of ethanol (OSRE)
Ultrasound-assisted coprecipitation method enables stabilizing the Co2+ species. Low Co loading cause undesirable products formation and rapid catalyst deactivation. Excess active phase cause Co3+ species agglomeration with poor activity in OSRE.
